"Devlin was born and raised in the coastal city of Durban, South Africa, and as an active child excelled in sports and loved always being outdoors. After graduating High School in 1998, Devlin spent the next 8 years as a restaurant and hotel manager before deciding to focus his career towards food! In 2006, Devlin began at the Swiss Institute of Hospitality and obtained his Culinary Arts Degree in 2008 and ever since has been an Executive Chef at award winning safari lodges, 5 diamond hotel resorts, exclusive country clubs as well as starting and operating successful restaurants and catering companies.
In 2013, Devlin moved to the United States and quickly found out about the luxury yachting industry and was naturally intrigued. After joining his first yacht, Devlin was hooked! His love for the vast opportunities of the open ocean paired with his background in hospitality, has given Devlin the perfect career to show off his culinary chops on superyachts up to 95 meters.
In 2018 Devlin joined a Bahamas yacht charter company as a sales professional and has also attained his yacht sales license in 2023, with a strong career into full time yachting industry sales his life goal!"
