Morgan Cadell was born in Maryland and grew up boating on the Chesapeake Bay. His first boat was a 23' Sea Ox purchased at the age of 12. It was a project boat requiring complete rebuilding and re-powering. With a lot of hard work, Morgan saw the project through to the end. What he learned in the process regarding both boat building and perseverance was truly remarkable, particularly for someone of his age.

As a young adult, Morgan relocated to Ocean City, Maryland and began working as a mate on a sportfishing boat. Morgan obtained his Captain license at age 25 and relocated to South Florida shortly thereafter. Since than he has worked a variety of mate and captain positions on boats throughout South Florida, Bahamas, and the North-East (Nantucket). These jobs have given him firsthand knowledge of a wide variety of boats including Viking, Merritt, American Custom, F&S, Spencer, Valhalla, and SeaVee. In addition to captain duties, on multiple occasions Morgan has represented individuals and managed the build process for their new 39’ SeaVees.

Morgan made multiple trips to the Abacos delivering emergency goods and supplies in the wake of hurricane Dorian. Harnessing his endless energy, work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit, Morgan has owned and operated a live bait business serving South Florida, utilizing a custom 26' boat that he personally rebuilt and repowered, owned a boat repair business which specialized in fiberglass work and currently owns a small marine electronics rigging company.

Morgan enjoys freediving and maintains his passion for offshore tournament fishing. In this endeavor he has helped secure several first-place finishes; including winning the Jimmy Johnson National Billfish Championship. Which at that time, had the highest payout in Florida’s history.
