Bernard “BG” Sykes
B.G. is a very experienced cruiser with over 54 north-south passages from New England to Florida/Bahamas and from 1992-2002 he and his wife home schooled his daughters aboard their 45′ and 72′ ketches while living in the Bahamas from December until March every year. He is also a Marion-Bermuda race veteran.
From 1985-1988 B.G. attended both Boston College Law School and the Boston College Graduate School of Management and received both his J.D. and M.B.A. degrees. He entered and remains a member of the Massachusetts Bar and is a member of U.S. Tax Court and a Federal Court practitioner.
Presently B.G. owns and runs Palm Beach Yachting, Inc., which is licensed and bonded in Florida and also does business in Massachusetts. He is actively involved in a variety of marine businesses and in real estate projects in Florida and Massachusetts.
