Jake Powell, a Tampa Bay native, has been immersed in boating since his early years, raised in a family deeply rooted in the marine lifestyle. From detailing boats as a teenager to his role as a dockhand and forklift operator at Port 32 Marina in South Tampa, Jake’s career began with hands-on experience and a passion for the water. Building lasting connections within the marine industry during this time, he forged relationships that he uses in his professional life today. Following family tradition, Jake pursued higher education at Florida State University, graduating in 2023 with a degree in Statistics. Joining OneWater Yacht Group post-graduation, Jake thrives on the mentorship and camaraderie within his team, eagerly sharing his expertise and passion for boating with clients. When not at work, Jake can often be found on the water, indulging in boating, spearfishing, and tournament fishing. His favorite destinations include the Bahamas and the Florida Keys, where he gains firsthand insights into boat performance and comfort. Jake prides himself on his extensive knowledge of global boat manufacturing and his energetic approach to client relationships.
