Nick started sailing when he was 12 years old on a 25’ racing sloop and has owned boats (sometimes more than one at a time) continuously since 1978. His last sailboat was a Catalina 36, in California. He has owned a 2006 Mainship 40 Trawler, a 2000 Sea Hunt Triton center console and a 1996 30’ Monterey Express Cruiser at various times in the last 15 years. He sailed his boats in international sailboat races and cruised in Mexico and the Caribbean on both sail and power boats. Additionally delivering sailboats from the Los Angeles area to Mexico (as an offshore delivery Captain).
