Michael has had a passion for being on the water since his first water skiing lesson at the age of 8. It was the same year he began his small landscape construction and later full service tree care company. Mechanical experience became second nature with every breakdown, repair, and resurrection of any piece of equipment from a rake handle all the way to a full scale diesel engine rebuild. His equipment has always been older, unique, have a story, and live on with his constant attention to detail. It should be no stretch that, all the while, this has fed a passion for boats that helped drive him to a second business line of restoring classic wood and fiberglass cabin cruisers.
Michael also loves people. He enjoys their stories, and learning their passions in their lives and hearing about them first hand. It is that genuine interest in people and their passions that drives Michael to want to give people the best possible service for their budget, as well as things that fit their needs and wants. His attention for detail developed through maintaining the trees and landscapes of some of the premier properties in PA & DE, as well as his meticulous mechanical and boat knowledge allows him to steer clients toward a vessel worthy of their time and dollar.
Michael, a family man, lives in Roxana, DE right near Fenwick Island, DE. He currently owns a wood hull 1950 Chris Craft Enclosed Cruiser named "Fretless" (34 ft LOA and all mahogany), a 1966 Pacemaker Sport Fish (Carvel Planked mahogany), and a 1963 Hatteras 34 Double Cabin (Fiberglass), as well as a few runabouts. He is constantly working on projects, trees, or the next boat he can pair with a Clients needs.
