Josh Carson was born on a Naval base - Camp Lejeune. His dad was a Marine and a professional surfer, so he was always in, on, under or near the ocean. Josh's 3 x Great Grandfather was John C Williams - who settled St Petersburg, Fl. His 2-x great grandfather owned most of north Longboat Key, including Mar Vista and built the Coquina houses on Broadway Street Josh grew up in the city of Anna Maria and obtained both his Florida Yacht Broker License and his 100- Master Captain license at the age of 18 (32 years ago). As well as his Dive Master license in 2001. He moved to the British Virgin Islands in 1997 where he started a successful Yacht Brokerage and fully crewed Charter company. He has well over 70,000 miles of offshore delivery work as Captain on a wide variety of boats - both power and sail . He has covered almost every island from Venezuela to Rhode Island, including Cuba and the majority of the Gulf of Mexico to Texas After Hurricane Irma evicted him from his home and ate all his belongings he decided to come back home to his roots where he met his wife.
