Grif grew up on Lake Erie, PA sparking a lifelong love of sailing and boating. Grif bought his first sailboat at 15 years old and at 19, he sailed his first transatlantic voyage, beginning a journey of extensive travel in the Mediterranean. His next adventure took him on a Feadship covering charters throughout the Caribbean.
Currently, besides being a broker for UYS, Grif is also the president of Yacht Management Professionals (YMP), a company dedicated to maintaining vessels the right way. As Todd, a client, and the owner of a 2022 74' Sunseeker Predator, says, "Being from out of state, having Grif take care of my yacht is almost like having a family member looking after your prized possession.
