I have been a licensed Yacht Broker in the State of Florida since 1980. During the last 31 years I have worked for 5 different Brokerages, Dealers, and Builders, but spent 24 of those years at the world famous Rybovich Boatworks where I was Brokerage Manager and New Construction Sales Manager. I have been lucky enough to have worked with some of the best Owners, Captains, and Crews in the sportfishing world, not to mention some truly awesome boats. I have always specialized in high end custom and stock sportfisherman and have sold well over a hundred Rybovich boats, which is a number that no other broker has ever come anywhere close to. I haven’t sold every Rybovich ever built, but I have sold most of them at least once and many of them several times. You can bet that I know where most of the skeletons are buried, what’s been done to them over the years, who babied them, who ran them hard, and which ones are just a little better for one reason or another.

Philosphy

I learned a long time ago that the truth will set you free and have made it a central tenet of my sales philosophy. There are thousands of brokers out there that you, as a buyer or seller, can choose to deal with…but why would you? Personal

I grew up in a boating family in Newport Beach, California and graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1977. After graduation I spent a couple of years hanging out in the Bahamas where I quickly became addicted to big game fishing and custom sport fisherman. I have lived in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida for the last 18 years and am blessed with my wife of 22 years, three daughters (Go Gators) and one grandson. Most of my down time is spent fishing for swordfish off of Palm Beach or deep dropping over in the Bahamas on my custom express fisherman “Sunchaser”.
