Tim Wunder, a native of the Finger Lakes region in upstate New York, has a lifelong connection with the great outdoors. His childhood was filled with a variety of outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, boating, and sports. His mechanical aptitude emerged early, leading him to a role as a mechanic in a foreign automotive specialist shop where he mastered the skills of diagnosing and repairing engines.
After completing his education, Tim ventured into the business world, founding a construction company. His career journey then took him into the insurance industry, where he gained invaluable experience. However, Tim's passion for boating and the water eventually steered his career towards the maritime sector.
In 2015, Tim took a significant step by purchasing a Horizon yacht in Florida, which he sailed to New York for the summer, only to return it to Fort Lauderdale. This move marked the beginning of a thriving charter business, reflecting his deepening commitment to the maritime industry. Tim's love for Florida's vibrant marine scene led him to permanently relocate there, further immersing himself in the yachting world.
Building on his success, Tim expanded his entrepreneurial pursuits by starting a marine repair and detailing business, further establishing his reputation in the maritime industry. In 2023, he achieved a professional milestone by acquiring his Yacht Broker's license and joining Cloud Yachts, where he continues to leverage his extensive experience and passion for boating, contributing significantly to the industry's growth and innovation.
