USCG Master Captain & ASA Sailing Instructor John Aros has been sailing since was a young boy. Fascinated by the water John became a United States Navy Diver and went on to study hyperbaric medicine and eventually became a saturation diver/ dive medic. All the while sailing. Captain John eventually acquired his USCG Captains license and worked as a commercial vessel delivery captain in Alaska. After meeting his wife in La Paz BCS he started running charter boats working along with his wife who was a private yacht chef. Captain John realized he wanted to help people learn who enjoyed the water as much as he does and so he became a certified ASA sailing instructor. It wasn't long before a U.S. based sailing school, catamaran charter and yacht brokerage company requested him to manage and run their catamaran fleet in their Mexico locations. When he isn't on the
