Born into a boating family, my father instilled the boating gene in me from a young age. Growing up in Chicago and spending summers in Northern Michigan, I fell in love with boating and the Great Lakes. I got my 100T Captain's license during College to work as a transport captain during the summers. After school, I couldn't imagine leaving the industry and moved to Baltimore, MD for my first job in boating. After ten years in Maryland, I moved to the Ft. Lauderdale area.

When I'm not working, I can usually be found cruising around on my center console with friends and my yellow Labrador Retriever, Stella.
