Northrop & Johnson Charter Broker Solenn de Braux is a French/American who has lived in various parts of Africa, Mexico and the USA; she now resides in the South of France. After graduating from Eckerd College with a bachelor’s degree in marine biology and French, Solenn spent several years teaching marine ecology in the Florida Keys, which eventually lead to her discovery of the yachting industry in South Florida. Solenn left the Keys in 2000 and joined Fraser Yachts in Fort Lauderdale, growing into a role as a Charter Broker, which then lead her to New York City with Burgess. Continuing on with her passion for travel and the sea, Solenn and her family moved to the French Riviera where she joined with Northrop & Johnson’s Antibes office. Solenn’s vast exposure to the various aspects of yachting, including crewing, supporting sales brokers, selling charters) along with her diverse background in and fascination with the oceans and travel allow her to assist her charter clients with enthusiasm and expertise. 

Over the years, Solenn has built an extensive knowledge of the cruising grounds in South Florida, The Bahamas, New England, the Caribbean, Central and South America, the Mediterranean and various regions of Asia and the South Pacific. 

Solenn speaks fluent French, English, Spanish and conversational Italian.
