Jeff Jorgensen - started sailing at 8 years old in the San Francisco Bay Area. Moved on the race Finns until it became obvious he was too light to be competitive. He has a degree in photography and was in that industry for 26 years. He moved to Annapolis, and in 2000 entered the boating industry selling sailboats and catamarans through a dealer there. There he actively raced in the J24 and Etchells classes. An opportunity came to move into commissioning boats that he did for 2 years before becoming the Commercial Product Specialist for Jeanneau North America. He was responsible for all of the North American boat shows, training dealers and owners on the various boats as well as helping coordinate production between the Beneteau factory in Marion, S.C. and French factories. Through this background Jeff has an in-depth knowledge of boats and their systems from the design process through production, delivery to clients and after sales service. In addition to sales, Jeff will manage customer service for the NAOS Richmond office serving Northern California and beyond. Jeff and his wife cruise when time allows and when asked enjoys racing mostly as a mainsail trimmer.
