A lifelong sailor. Gunnar group up in Southern California enjoying the beaches and harbors in the 70's and 80's. He began sailing with his father (an avid sailor who is still sailing at 87) on the family boat. Gunnar learned a lot about boats, the sea and safety in the Sea Scouts, where his love for sailing continued to grow. Gunnar raced dinghies at Orange Coast College and worked on the charter boats in Newport Harbor. He also started helping with deliveries during that time.
"My father could never get enough of the sea and would frequently find an excuse to extend any sailing voyage we were on. I now find that same love for the sea that my father and his father had is alive and growing in me."
Gunnar started work at Naos Yachts in the summer of 2013 and has literally helped hundreds of people with their boating pleasure.
Gunnar sees yacht sales as a service, and has seen dramatic examples of how the pleasure of boating can bring out the best in individuals and families.
