Shane Mansur was born and raised in Dana Point CA, as a third-generation Captain, he has almost spent more time on the water than on land with his first trip to Catalina at 6 months old and his exploration of Baja beginning in 2000 at age 11 on a fleet of sport fishing yachts operated by his father.
Growing up in his grandfather's fish market in the heart of Dana Point Harbor, and on all the local commercial sport boats and yachts, he was destined to be entwined in the industry. From working on commercial harpoon swordfish boats to private yacht fishing and winning prestigious marlin tournaments on the West Coast to running multi-yacht operations, his wealth of knowledge is vast beyond his years.
Following in his Father’s footsteps at 34 years of age, he is currently the Captain and Operations Manager for a private operation consisting of a 2013 80’ Bertram sport fisher and a 2023 53’ HCB Suenos, he is partners in his Father’s yacht management and repair company solidifying the complete package that Shane brings to the table.
Surrounding yourself with the best team possible is so important, personally, Shane currently resides in Dana Point and is married to his high school sweetheart and they have two wonderful children together.
Shane’s positive can-do attitude and consistency really shines through while working with his clients. He prides himself on values such as honor and integrity and is very passionate in all aspects of his life.
