Description

Single Malt 1 was designed and built as a comfortable trawler, a home away from home, a yacht that could take you out on extended journeys, and to just enjoy being away. But if long range cruising is on your mind, she has a 4,000 NM range. Here are just some of the reasons why this yacht could be perfect for you. The hull of Single Malt 1 is a modified displacement design and built using fiberglass construction, incorporating Kevlar & Divinycell into the mold. The addition of the bulbous bow increases overall efficiency, the bow & stern thrusters enhance maneuverability, and the wider beam ensures a spacious interior. Plus add in the stability of the rolling chocks, transforming the boating experience, she has it all. This special trawler embodies distinctive architectural elements together with the newly installed top-performing Cummins engines. The major refit took place in 2021. The recent upgrade list is substantial, but a few of the noteable changes begin with the NEW twin Cummins main engines, ZF gears and shafts w/ line cutters, completely updated pilothouse multifunction displays and navigation systems, remote Yacht Controller device, 400 KW solar, EFOY, upgraded tank monitoring to digital, new larger capacity Nick Jackson davit, upgrades to the Galley and refrigeration, x7 cameras installed surrounding the boat-including the engine room and all viewed from pilothouse. These are just a few of the recent improvements that have been added to ensure a higher level of enjoyment when cruising

So, entering from the cockpit, you will be in the salon and immediately experience the beautiful interior's design. The style and combination of the various exotic hardwoods, create the wonderful, luscious experience of excellence. Large, bright windows surround you, giving you fantastic views of your current location. Comfortable seating, an open concept galley, new flat screen tv and the separate bar station, create a great gathering spot. The pilothouse is a few steps up and forward, which has has been nicely updated. Reverse raked windows, cherry and fiddle wood interior, Navigator swivel helm seat, guest bench seating w/table and a day head is a part of the pilothouse. And in front of you is the new Garmin displays. Excellent for those extended journeys. A wide semi spiral staircase leads you down to the lower level. The style of various combinations of the exotic woods, continues to this level. Here you have the two state rooms, heads, engine room and large lazarette. The separation of the staterooms provides privacy, comfort, and luxury. Each stateroom has a separate head with walk in showers, heated floors, and heated towel bars. The large engine room is gorgeous allowing full access to everything w/ 6' head room. Well laid out and fitted with cameras. Aft of that is another large separate room - the lazarette - that houses your spare parts & workshop, tanks, watermaker, another freezer, batteries and is a great place for additional storage. Moving to the upper level, this is a beautiful place to hang out and enjoy the sun and the view. Take full control of the vessel with the upper helm. Solid hardtop over head, wrap around seating to lounge and a great place to read a good book. New S/S safety railing added, keeping everyone safe. Open a small gate and you now have access to the davit and dingy. A new Nick Jackson 1500 lb davit was just added.

All aspects of this yacht, from design, to engineering and build, have been meticulously crafted. Custom finishing, and joinery details are gorgeous. The thought about safety and comfort for long range cruising has been taken seriously. She is ready to go to her next owner.
