    Seller's Description & General Comments

    • El Nido has been proactively maintained & serviced throughout. The condition of the interior and exterior (gelcoat, bridge windows, interior flooring, woodwork, etc.) is excellent. Waxing of all gelcoat surfaces (inside and out) is conducted thoroughly in the spring of every year and most of the flatter surfaces are also waxed in the fall.
    • All mechanical maintenance (oil changes, fuel filters, zincs, bottom paint touch ups, etc.) is performed annually or more frequently as required. There are extensive maintenance records to support this along with the date when such work was performed.
    • Unlike most yachts in the 40 to 70’ range, El Nido has been equipped for four-seasons cruising on extended trips away from marinas while anchoring and has been designed to minimize generator run time due to the large house battery capacity and rapid battery charging capacity. These features include:Kabola diesel heater providing comfortable temperatures through the winter months.
    • 375’ of anchor chain
    • 1,060 Ah battery capacity
    • 240 to 340 amp charging capacity from the generator and engines
    • Essentially all 120-volt electrical circuits are connect to the inverter and operable from the house battery bank without the generator or shore power (except the cooktop, washer/dryer and dishwasher).
    • El Nido is very manageable with a single person while docking or anchoring by using the Yacht Controller. The current owner has travelled extensively while alone or without the help of guests or crew.
    • The tender is equipped for salmon trolling with anywhere from 1 to 3 people with a downrigger mount, rod holder mounts, raw water washdown pump, etc.
    • The current owner has travelled up the inside passage as far north as Glacier Bay in Alaska, and extended trips to Desolation Sound, the Broughton’s, and several trips from southern tip of Vancouver Island to Barkley and Nootka Sound on the west side of Vancouver Island.

    Salon

    • Two ultra leather chairs on the starboard side and a leather sofa on the port side.
    • Custom built (2018) side table with drawers between the two leather chairs, a custom coffee table and a custom shoe box/chair, all with similar finish to the woodwork in the boat.
    • Recently replaced carpet throughout the boat (2021).
    • Compact lower helm which allows for a larger dining area.
    • Pneumatic port side door which provides a second exit and ability to have better airflow through the salon in the main cabin
    • Upgraded Bose home theatre speaker system in salon with a 43”TV, Pioneer amplifier and surround system, VSAT and KVH V3 dish on roof, DVD player, Bell satellite TV router with KVH M5 dish on roof, Fusion sound system wired to salon, cockpit and bridge.

    • Separate washer and dryer

    Electrical

    • Essentially all 120-volt electrical circuits are connect to the inverter and operable from the house battery bank without the generator or shore power (except the cooktop, washer/dryer and dishwasher).
    • Two 50a shore power inlets with Glendinning cablemasters at the stern, outlets with separate shore power cables at the bow. One of the inlets on the bow was converted to 30a service in 2021 that can be accessed from the bow (prior to this change, only 50a 220V shorepower could be used)

    • Victron 3000W inverter charger (replaced in 2021)
    • A second Victron 3000W inverter charger was installed in 2021 but only the charging side was activated since there is lots of inverting capacity. This allows charging the house bank using the generator at up to 240a, and with the engines running and the engine alternator, up to 340a. This significantly reduces the time required to recharge the house batteries.
    • Charles 240v surge suppressor, Charles IsoBoost automatic shoreline transformer, Charles 12kva isolation power transformer.

    • Replaced the plastic Marquis logo with a stainless steel version on the upper aft area of the flybridge supports.
