2020 Summit 54'

2020 Summit 54 Motoryacht The Summit Yachts Showboat has arrived in the Chesapeake! The Summit Motor Yacht is built by The Kadey Krogen Group, meaning the main goal is a quality standard, not a price point.

Description

The Summit 54 stands out for her performance, quality of construction and incredible use of open spaces. From the large Galley being completely open to the covered aft deck, the huge saloon where guests share the same space and experience as the helm, to the oversized lounges on the flybridge and foredeck, the Summit brings everyone together in a way that most boats cannot. She is the ultimate cruising and entertainment platform.

The Summit is also a luxurious vacation home with a full beam master that includes separate WC and shower, his and her lockers, tons of storage and a full size queen. She has a third stateroom for crew or additional guests, full laundry and a VIP forward with luxurious in-suite bath and shower.

With the incredible hull form and construction, powered by Cummins QSB6.7 engines coupled with straight shaft drives in half tunnel pockets, the Summit can cruise for 400nm at 21kts and draws less than 4 feet. Her doubled insulation keeps her super quiet and her SeaKeeper keeps everyone on board comfortable in a wider weather window than any other yacht her size.

Whether a season in New England or the Bahamas or a sunset cruise with friends and family, every amenity has been carefully crafted to a level that only 50 years of boat building can provide.

The decks walk like concrete and the fit and finish of her Walnut interior spaces reflects a level of craftsmanship that only a hand made yacht can.

Forward are overhead cabinets and a large sink with dishwasher. To Starboard is a built in settee lounge with table for a breakfast lounge. To the aft is the open bar that connects the galley to the aft deck entertainment area.

Saloon

The main Saloon is just two steps up from the Galley and features a bar service area with icemaker built in. To Port a very large U-shaped lounge area (cocktails for 10, dinner for 6) with an expandable table sits on the same level and in the same space as the double/bench STIDD helm seat and fully equipped lower control station. The entire space is surrounded by large windows so that the pilot and guests share the same view from the same level creating a joint experience underway.

Once at port, open up the bar and raise the recessed 42" TV to watch the game or pile the crew into the lounge seating for a movie night. Or enjoy music throughout all areas of the yacht.

Flybridge

Flybridge access is a wide/secure stairway from the aft deck. The flybridge and boat deck together are almost 2/3 of the length of the boat! There is a very well equipped helm and twin STIDD helm seats to stbd.

Forward of the helm is a very large pad/lounge area large enough for 4-6 adults. This is one of the best seats in the house and the area is protected from the wind by the forward facing, tinted windscreen/deflector and overhead by the hardtop which covers the entire bridge area.

To Port is a very large lounge with seating for 8+, a teak table that also expands out to size and a flybridge beverage refrigerator/freezer.

Farther aft is the Steelhead davit and tender storage with the Highfield center console tender with 25hp Yamaha outboard.

The entire bridge area, from the helm and all the lounge seating and refrigerator have custom Sunbrella fitted mooring covers.

Foredeck

In addition to the robust anchoring systems and storage lockers, the forward deck of the Summit 54 is a giant sunpad/lounge area with a custom bimini cover and an additional bench/lounge on the forward deck. Reclining sunpads built in, beverage holders and even lighting for night time ambiance make this a favorite place to spend time aboard.

Swim Platform Deck

The oversized swim platform of the Summit 54 also serves as a bar-b-que grill deck with a retractable prep station that slides out with the grill.

In addition, at the touch of a button, the entire transom opens on hydraulic lifts to reveal a large storage garage. Docklines, fenders, paddleboards and toys, all at the ready and disappear with the touch of a button.

Master Stateroom

The full beam, mid-ship master is almost 15 feet wide! Large enough for a full queen bed, his and her hanging lockers, tons of storage cabinetry, a dressing/vanity area and a large en-suite bath with separate w/c, vanity and shower.

The master also has a C-Zone control center from which you can monitor and control every electrical component on the ship. A TV and separate cooling and heating zone make this your own private suite in every way. The large windows reflect the light from the water as you go to bed at sea level.

VIP

The forward VIP is more of a 2nd Master on the Summit. The room holds a full queen and a very large, in-suite bath and shower. There is hanging storage and drawers and cabinetry for an extended stay and full wardrobe.

Overhead are two hatches with built in screens and black-out shades for breeze and light.

Guests also have their own TV/entertainment system and their own zone of Air and Heat. The only issue will be getting them to leave!

Third Stateroom/Laundry

The third stateroom or Captain's quarters are both larger and more luxurious than that term normally implies. Done if full walnut to match the rest of the yacht, there is a generous berth, vanity and storage and a private TV and Climate Control Zone as well.

Inside the cabinetry to the fwd of this room is a full and separate washer/dryer by Asko.

Engine Spaces

This is a high-point. The engine room is below the after deck and provides generous spaces for inspection and work in addition to very well laid out systems. Remember that this yacht was built by Kadey Krogen so access is very important as opposed to production boats that just stuff components below with no thought as to how they will be maintained and serviced. This is a boat for a true yachtsman.

The Lazzerette area offers not just storage, but a central hub of the boat's entire electrical system, all laid out so that it is easy to understand, diagnose and reach anything that needs service. Again, this is a little ship that will appeal mostly to those with experience.
