Carver 530 Walk Through

You can step aboard Viva LaVida either through the transom door from the swim platform or via the molded steps over the gunwales. Entry to the salon is through a sturdy glass and stainless steel sliding door. The galley is positioned to port on the same level as the spacious salon, providing a seamless living area. To starboard, a set of steps leads up to the pilothouse and upper salon, while a curved companionway to the right descends to the stateroom level. This lower level includes a private master stateroom with an ensuite aft, a VIP guest stateroom with its own ensuite forward, and a port-side stateroom with over-under bunks. The guest head is also accessible from the main hallway.

The fully enclosed flybridge can be reached from the wide stairs in the pilothouse/upper salon or via a cockpit ladder. The foredeck is accessible through the pilothouse’s starboard-side door or by using the exterior stairs leading up from the cockpit.

Carver 530 Main Salon

The salon on Viva LaVida is accessed directly from the cockpit through a tinted-glass stainless steel sliding door, which includes a built-in screen and privacy blinds. The flooring is stylish and low-maintenance hardwood planking. Expansive salon windows allow for ample natural light, but they can also be covered with tasteful blinds for privacy or sun protection.

To port, a flat-screen TV is mounted on a swivel, offering flexible viewing angles.

On the starboard side, a sophisticated charcoal-gray L-shaped settee provides comfortable seating. A built-in end table at the forward end of the settee features a neutral-toned Avonite countertop and two open storage shelves for added convenience.

The 12V electrical panel is located to the port side of the steps leading up to the pilothouse and upper salon, while the 110V electrical panel is positioned to starboard.

The interior cabinetry is finished in warm cherry wood, complementing the yacht’s refined styling. All interior lighting has been upgraded to energy-efficient LED fixtures, enhancing both ambiance and functionality.

Carver 530 Galley

The galley on Viva LaVida is located to port of the salon, featuring a spacious neutral-toned Avonite countertop with three wood bar-height stools, perfect for casual dining or entertaining. Ample storage space is available beneath the counter, ensuring plenty of room for cookware and provisions.

The galley is equipped with modern appliances, including a Side-by-Side Summit Refrigerator and Freezer (2024), a Princess 3-burner electric cooktop and oven with an overhead light and vent, and a convection microwave oven for versatile cooking options. A set of double sinks with a newly installed pull-out faucet adds convenience, with one sink featuring an Avonite cover for additional counter space when needed. Two conveniently placed electrical outlets allow for easy use of small appliances. Storage is well thought out, with a drawer beneath the cooktop/oven, a pull-out storage shelf for canned goods, and deep under-sink storage. Additionally, two towel rings are mounted inside the cabinet below the sink for easy access. The galley and salon flooring is finished with high-end luxury wood planks, enhancing the yacht’s warm and elegant interior ambiance.

Carver 530 Pilothouse/Upper Salon

The Carver 530 Voyager Pilothouse on Viva LaVida features a well-equipped lower helm station within the upper salon, offering a comfortable space for guests while cruising and serving as an inviting entertainment area when docked or at anchor. Large windows provide excellent visibility, all fitted with exterior sunscreens to help regulate light and temperature. To port, a stylish settee comfortably seats five to six people. A free-standing table sits in front of the settee, and behind it, four built-in Avonite cup holders add convenience. Additional features of the pilothouse include six LED surface-mounted lights, multiple electrical outlets, and a reverse-cycle air conditioning and heating control for optimal climate comfort. The pilothouse is carpeted and in excellent condition, and a starboard-side pilothouse door provides quick and easy access to the foredeck, with a custom screen mounted on the interior for ventilation while keeping insects out. Overhead, an integrated console provides essential controls, while the multi-position helm chair, finished in black, features electric adjustments and lift-up armrests for maximum comfort. To the left upon entering, there is a five-drawer dresser with a neutral-toned Avonite countertop and two accent lights. Adjacent to the dresser is a small locker with four shelves, perfect for storing personal items. On the opposite side of the door, two built-in storage shelves offer additional space. Along the starboard side of the bed, there are storage drawers, providing ample room for extended cruising. Across from the berth, a lighted ¾-length cedar-lined hanging locker offers deep storage. The split ensuite head, located across from the berth, enhances convenience. Nearby, a small drawer and additional wall storage, along with an electrical outlet, add functionality.
