Offering a spacious and comfortable interior that is sure to please, you will note the galley and the salon are on the same level. This provides fun cooking in the galley while entertaining friends in the salon. Her 2-stateroom layout offers both VIP forward and Master stateroom aft both with full queen berths and heads. She will make the perfect condo on the water and a fine coastal cruising yacht.

The 500 Cockpit also has a phenomenal deck layout. There are molded steps lead down to the functional cockpit with direct access to the master stateroom and a walk-thru transom door with an oversized integral swim platform. Topside the Flybridge is comfortably arranged and provides plenty of seating around the helm console. Additional features include wing doors to wide side decks, and easily accessed engine room.

Her economical and dependable 450-hp Cummins diesels will cruise at 18 knots (about 21 knots top). She rides on a conventional modified V-hull with a relatively wide beam and a shallow keel for directional stability.

Hull and Deck

The deck layout features an enclosed aft deck and flybridge, both with hardtops and wing-doors to the walkaround decks. A door from the aft deck leads down stairs to the cockpit.  The master stateroom has sliding doors open to the cockpit.

Hull and superstructure gelcoat is in fine condition (no cracks) and polished 12.23

Windlass with anchor and chain

The helm area is enclosed by glass windows with opening side windows. It is air conditioned. (compressor replaced 5.23)

The aft deck area has opening sliding windows and wing doors. It is air conditioned.

Remarks

The Carver 500 is a terrific boat to live aboard and enjoy coastal cruising – although this boat has cruised the Bahamas.  

This layout with an aft master stateroom with access to a big cockpit, enclosed helm with a big aft deck and a hardtop , roomy salon and open galley and VIP with a separate bath – is very desirable and easy to live aboard in comfort.

Her interior teak wood paneling is in fine condition without leaks or stains. The engines and boat perform very well.

The gelcoat is also in very nice condition with a fresh buff/wax 12.23

Many late improvements have been made in the last few months including new interior flooring, renewed window tinting inside and out, new salon window shades, 2 new a/c compressors, new inverter and a recent yard period with the dripless shaft seals replaced, engine coolers rebuilt.



A desirable slip in the coveted Marco Island Marina is available for lease (no liveaboard but liberal with staying aboard for short periods).
