Accommodations

MOONSHADOW’s layout is the desirable two-stateroom two-head with twin athwartship berths in the guest stateroom. The interior is climate controlled by reverse-cycle AC units and has top quality stainless steel opening window ports for added ventilation. A central vacuum cleaner and plenty of storage compartments makes it easy to keep MOONSHADOW neat and tidy.

Walking below, the large U-shaped GALLEY is to port and can accommodate for distance cruising with two large refrigerator units and an optional top access freezer (recently upgraded). A convection microwave oven is above the counter next to a custom knife rack mounted neatly underneath the cabinetry. Outboard is a 3-burner electric cook top surrounded by stainless rails for cooking while underway or in a busy harbor. Just forward and below the cook top is deep storage for large pots, pans and utensils. Facing forward in the galley is a twin dish stainless steel sink with more storage above and below the counter.

The SALOON is to starboard with a U-shaped settee and teak table. Storage can be found below and behind the settee. A TV is hidden behind a cabinet and can be viewed while relaxing on the settee. While seated, the fusion stereo control is within arms length. The liquor cabinet can hold bottles and glasses of all shapes and sizes.

Walking forward and to port is the GUEST STATEROOM with twin single berths and storage below and between the berths. A pocket door slides shut for privacy.

The DAY/GUEST head has an odor free fresh water vacuflush head with incorporated shower. The sink vanity is outboard with storage below and behind the counter.

Furthest forward is the PRIMARY STATEROOM with a centerline queen berth with custom mattress. Storage is plentiful with port and starboard cabinets with large cedar lined hanging locker and drawer storage under the berth. The master has a private ensuite head with separate shower stall.

Pilothouse

With panoramic, 360 degree views and protection on all sides from sun or inclement weather, this is the place where you’ll do most of your living and entertaining. The elegant helmdeck is extended with sliding windows. Aft is a custom made enclosure with beautifully constructed teak door to access the pilothouse and custom varnished teak framing around the aft eisenglass to give it a much more elegant look.

Cockpit

MOONSHADOW fully utilizes the large aft deck of the Eastbay 49. The Bench seat, teak table, bimini with lighting, and convenient entry door into the pilothouse creates a whole new cockpit living space that few other Eastbay 49 HX owners can enjoy.
