Accommodations
As you approach “Rubber Ducky” you’ll appreciate the shine in its Awlgrip finish. It comes with a boarding ladder or folding stair utilized on either side for boarding. Once aboard, the wide decks allow ease of access forward to the working bow or through the smoked glass wing doors to the spacious aft deck. The aft deck is fully enclosed or can be easily opened to the let the fresh sea breeze flow through. There is ample space to entertain many people while preparing your bbq in the rain or shine. The refit bar includes large storage space, a wine chiller, and preparation sink.
The companionway up leads you to a spacious flybridge enclosed under a new hardtop. Lots of comfortable seating surround the helm for all to enjoy the cruise together. Large storage space is utilized in the brow forward of the helm. The Captain will appreciate ease in command with a full Garmin Navigation suite at your fingertips. Whether you’re cruising the ICW in comfort or crossing to the Bahamas, you’ll appreciate the sea keeping stability that Hatteras is known for. .
Working your way below deck leads you into an inviting salon outfitted with a new interior. The new joinery work is impeccable. The cabinetry boasts lots of storage and new Samsung TV entertainment center. The motorized lift safely stows below the counter that of a modern day yacht. Its Sonos sound system presents a theater experience. You can keep your cocktail cold with Edgestar clear ice maker built in.
The Galley and Settee down is a feature of this Yacht. The refit of this area is nothing short of amazing. The solid surface counter top and tile back splash is tastefully down and timeless in design. Every inch of space was utilized for storage, and you’ll appreciate the household sized Samsung side by side refrigerator with freezer drawer beneath. The Wolf convection 3-burner cooktop is efficient and safe to prepare your Michelin star meals, and you can bake in the the Kitchen Aid convection oven below. The teak and holly sole is classic in design and easy to clean. The large settee features new upholstery and new teak table for dining.
The F’ocsile forward features two bunks, lots of storage, and access to a large anchor locker. The head is en-suite and includes a shower.
Transiting aft from the salon leads you to a stacked washer/ dryer combination unit. The guest cabin is convertible with two bunks and storage, or an office with the aft bunk custom designed to fold up out of the way exposing a working desk and chair. The second head is located across the hall and also includes a separate shower.
Another highlight of “Rubber Ducky” is its large Master Stateroom. Large closets, cabinets and drawers provide storage for long term cruising or living aboard full time. The queen berth is a full walk around with opening port lights and an opening transom window for ventilation. Another Samsung TV is mounted to the bulkhead from ease of viewing from bed.
Whether your cruising grounds take you north to colder climates or you stay tropical you’ll find comfort with 4 zone reverse cycle FCF heat and air conditioning. Her Detroit 6v92’s can sip fuel at trawler speeds or you can push the throttles forward and get to your destination to catch the sunset with ease. One of “Rubber Ducky’s” greatest features is its new Phazor 12.5kw generator nestled inside a sound box in the stand up engine room. Fresh batteries ensure confident starting and are charged by a new Victron 50 amp charger. The engine room includes a fire suppression system.
