    Owners Comments and Boat History

This beautiful center cockpit boat offers a generous and comfortable living arrangement whether at dock or at sea. It combines the storage and tankage requirements of long ocean passages with the practical realities of coastal cruising and living aboard. The hull is in excellent condition. Foam insulation between deck and headliner, custom hardtop dodger w/tempered glass windows and stainless steel arch w/davits. Traveller handles like a dream in heavy weather, the cockpit stays dry and there's little reason to leave the cockpit.

I am the second owner. I bought it in 2010 after it had been stored on the hard for at least 3 years so I do not know it's history for the first 3 years. To my knowledge, it has never been in a collision or a hard grounding, never had a fire onboard nor has there been any flooding. I've lived aboard for 15 years, my partner has been with me for the last 5 years. I've done 2 Atlantic crossings and at least 10 round trips between Annapolis and Antigua, the Med as far as France, and most of the islands in the West Indies. While there has been some sail damage over the years, I've never had a line part and never been disabled until the engine crapped out on the way down here this year and it's being replaced. I've averaged around $30K in maintenance/repair costs per year so the boat and it's equipment is in good shape. The electrical system in particular is in superb condition. Any work that I've done has been inspected or redone by an ABYC certified electrician, this year was the mast wiring going forward where most of the wires were replaced and a general cleanup performed. A similar cleanup was performed in the engine room about 4 years ago and is being somewhat redone as part of the engine installation. Bottom was stripped to gelcoat in 2023 and refinished with Petit Epoxy Primer and Pettit Trinidad Gold anti-fouling. Replaced wiring for solar panels, wind generator, and stern light as part of refurbishing arch.
