The Beneteau Oceanis 423 is a high-performance cruiser with a spacious air conditioned cabin for living aboard. Full Details
Helm and Cockpit
Step into this comfortable Cockpit with wraparound seating. The center storage table has folding leaves that open to dine at least 4 people. The seating has removeable cushions and storage beneath. The Sunbrella dodger and bimini top keep you dry and shaded underway. Moving aft you'll find comfortable seating to control the wheel with a pass thru transom to the swim platform. The Helm is equipped with a stainless-steel wheel and compass. You can navigate using the Raymarine Axiom plus 9 combination touchscreen GPS chartplotter with 4kw Radar. The Raymarine autopilot helps you maintain course while you trim your sails to the wind displayed on the Raymarine wind, depth, and speed instrument. The cockpit also includes a Raymarine VHF remote radio and speakers to the Sony Bluetooth stereo. The Volvo Penta engine monitor display and fuel tank monitor is covered from the elements.
Salon
Passing thru the companion way forward you'll step down 4 steps into the Salon. Its cabin sole is synthetic Teak. You'll find a large settee to starboard with comfortable seating on all sides of the table. The seating has storage underneath and behind. An additional settee is to port. A flat screen TV is mounted to the forward bulkhead. Overhead hatches, portlights, and forward windows light up the salon and offer lots of fresh air. The navigation station is aft of the settee port side. The Nav station is equipped with chartplotter and chart storage underneath. The control panel includes:
- Raymarine VHF radio
- Wired VHF remote control for the cockpit
- Wireless remote control for the autopilot
- Xantrex Inverter/ Charger controller
- Victron DC voltage monitor
- Balmar DC engine voltage output monitor
- Engine hour meter (currently inop)
- AC/ DC power distribution panels
Galley
The Oceanis 423 has a large galley aft of the starboard settee. It includes lots of storage and a gimbled 3-Burner Force-10 propane stove/oven. A microwave is nicely built in behind the stove top. A large double stainless steel sink. A large under counter freezer resides outboard of the front load ac/dc refrigerator.
Guest Stateroom and Head
The guest stateroom aft to port has a large double berth. (2) Port lights for cross ventilation and an overhead hatch. Storage shelves and a hanging locker provide storage for their personal belongings. Your guests will be able to enter the en-suite guest head undisturbed.
The guest head can be accessed from the salon or en-suite to the guest stateroom. It is considered a wet head including a shower, VacuFlush toilet, and a vanity with sink. This also makes a great area to hang foul weather gear to dry.
Master Stateroom and Head
The master stateroom in the f'ocsile has a hanging locker and cabinets for ample storage while underway. Shelving lines both sides of the center double berth with port lights for cross ventilation and an overhead hatch to catch the sea breeze. Lots of storage for long term ship stores can be kept under the berth. Sitting areas to port and starboard provide added comfort. The master head is accessed en-suite to starboard.
The en-suite master head has a shower with divider isolating it from the rest of the head. The head includes a VacuFlush toilet, vanity with sink and storage beneath.
Engine and Mechanical
The Volvo D2-55A diesel engine resides under the companionway stairs. The hours are currently unknown. It powers a Volvo MS35L transmission shaft driven 3-Blade bronze propeller. Additional equipment include:
- Racor 500 water separating fuel filters
- Relion Lithium-Ion batteries
- Xantrex Freedom SW-2000 watt inverter/ charger
- (2) 30-amp Shore power inlets
- (3) Electric bilge pumps
- (1) Manual bilge pump

Rigging and ground tackle include:
- New Quantum Sails in 2024: Main is full horizontal battened mainsail, 8.45 oz. Offshore finishing with 2 reefs and 4 full battens 33.2 sqm with Lazy Jack lines and stack pack. Genoa is an 110% - 8.45 oz Offshore finishing with foam luff and reefing patches 39.1 sqm on a Pro-Furl roller furler.

Stainless-steel davits hold a Highfield dinghy powered by a 9.9hp Yamaha outboard engine (New in 2019). A Magma grill mounts to the rails to bbq your fresh catch of the day. Stainless steel boarding ladder makes entry in and out of the water a breeze.
