Accommodations
The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 42.1 offers an open, spacious interior that is well thought out. Entering through the companionway you will find a well apointed interior offering good space for all. There is a forward-facing nav station directly to port of the companionway stairs with plenty of work-space. The nav station houses the radar, stereo, and electrical panels. To starboard, opposite the nav station, is the large aft head which is also accessible directly from the aft cabin. The aft cabin can be accessed either via a passageway just aft of the nav station or from the aft head located on the starboard side. The aft cabin has a seating areas to either side of the centerline queen berth. There is excellent storage throughout the aft cabin.
The main salon features the galley to port that runs forward to the bulkhead. It offers a generous work area and is equipped with a large refrigerator, a propane stove with an oven, double stainless steel sinks, and ample of storage in lockers and drawers.
There is a "U" shaped dining area and has a beautiful teak table with flip-up/down leaves to convert from a "cocktail" size table to a full-size dining table. In addition there is a centerline seat with storabe below and grab bar on the back.
Moving forward there is a large cabin with v-berth and excellent storage. There is an en suite head with a shower to port and a seating/dressing area to starboard. The berth is large and could be used as a master cabin if desired.
