Heritage East 42 Vessel Walkthrough

Boarding Next Chapter from the swim platform, you ascend molded steps to the sundeck. From here, you can access the foredeck via the wide port and starboard side decks, continue up to the spacious and fully equipped flybridge, or enter the main cabin.

Inside the main cabin, the salon offers a bright, comfortable space for relaxing or entertaining. To starboard is a large L-shaped settee with a hardwood hi/lo table featuring a fold-up leaf, while to port you’ll find a modern armchair with ottoman. Moving forward and down a few steps brings you to the well-appointed U-shaped galley to port and the dinette with seating for four to six and located to starboard.

The guest stateroom is positioned in the bow and includes an ensuite guest wet head, located aft to starboard. The full-beam aft master stateroom, complete with ensuite head, is accessed directly from the salon.

Engine room access is excellent, provided through the salon floor hatches or the hatch beneath the lift-up galley steps.

Heritage East 42 Accommodations

Next Chapter offers a spacious full-beam aft master stateroom featuring a queen-size island berth and a private ensuite head with a separate enclosed shower for added comfort. Forward, the guest stateroom is located in the bow and includes a port-side angled berth, built-in dresser to starboard, and an ensuite wet head conveniently positioned to starboard, just aft within the stateroom.

Heritage East 42 Main Cabin

The main cabin aboard Next Chapter offers a warm, inviting, and highly functional living space that seamlessly incorporates the salon, galley, and dinette. Along the starboard side and aft bulkhead, the salon features a large L-shaped settee with storage beneath and a hardwood hi/lo table with a fold-up leaf. Forward of the settee is a sliding side-deck access door and the fully functional lower helm. To port, a modern armchair with a teak end table and ottoman creates an additional comfortable seating area.

A breakfast bar is positioned forward to port with a large Vizio flat-screen TV mounted overhead. Generous built-in hardwood storage is found throughout the space, including cabinetry and drawers along the starboard aft bulkhead, the port bulkhead, and within the breakfast bar. The teak and holly sole adds warmth and durability, while two large floor hatches provide convenient access to the engine room.

Abundant natural light fills the cabin through large windows to port, starboard, and forward, with opening side windows for ventilation and cellular blinds for privacy.

Forward and down a few steps to port is the spacious, well-designed U-shaped galley, fully equipped and thoughtfully laid out, featuring:

The room offers excellent storage, including a large hanging locker, numerous drawers and cabinets, and additional space beneath the berth, ideal for extended cruising.

To starboard, a cozy two-place bench settee adds a comfortable seating option. Natural light fills the stateroom through a large centered aft escape hatch and two portlights on both the port and starboard sides, creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere. The teak and holly sole enhances the warm, classic feel of the space.

The private ensuite head features a molded vanity, a separate enclosed shower, and an electric flush toilet, providing the owner with comfort, convenience, and privacy.

The guest stateroom, located in the bow, features an angled full berth with storage beneath, positioned along the port bulkhead.
