ON DECK WALK AROUND

When first approaching "Second Wind" you with note her beautiful classic lines. For a Center Cockpit she has a rather low profile which is accentuated by her traditional dark blue hull.

Other notable features that are not normally found on this make and model yacht are the stainless steel arch with dingy davits incorporated in the the structure, a large and very useable swim platform, a stainless steel bow sprit with dual anchor rollers and as you board her you are greeted by an actual stainless steel gate and not a life line. You should also note that the lifelines from the boarding aft are stainless steel railings which are incorporated into the arch and stern pulpit.

Once aboard as you walk around the deck you will find it very comfortable moving forward due to the wide open decks and the addition of taller stanchions and life lines. Behind the cockpit is a large open aft deck giving good access to the swim platform and dingy lift system located on the arch.

This brings us to the cockpit which is quite large with a bimini covering the entire cockpit with side curtains to provide shelter from inclement weather.

WELCOME BELOW

When descending below you are welcomed by a bright and spacious salon with the warmth of wood everywhere. The cabinetry through out this yacht is spectacular with care and consideration both styling detail as well as the usability.

In the salon on the port side is a large, round dropleaf table with a circular settee to match on the starboard side is long straight settee which when needed converts to a double berth. Both settees have been re-upholstered in a beautiful off white Naugahyde adding both great contrast of color and durability. As you look around the salon you will note plenty of both open shelving and doored storage. For entertainment located on the forward bulkhead is large high def Samsung smart tv.

Aft of the salon on the port side is a galley fit for a chief. This area had been reconfigured providing all the amenities of a home kitchen. First note the abundance of dry goods storage and for cold goods a large refrigerator and a separate freezer. For cooking is a stainless steel three burner stove with oven and a microwave. For clean up duties are two huge stainless steel sinks. There is plenty of work space with the Corian counter tops and again all of the cabinetry is beautifully finished in varnished teak. Engine access doors are locate on the inboard side of the ally way.

Continuing aft through the doorway is the owners stateroom. This is a true owners stateroom, it is a full width cabin with with your central focus on the queen size berth with plenty of walk around room. The berth is surrounded by an abundance of storage on both sides and seating at the foot end of the berth on port and starboard. Continue around to the starboard side of the aft cabin is access to the owners head.

The owners head is of good size containing toilet, sink with vanity storage above and below as well as a large stall shower with a built in seat.

Moving back to the salon just to the starboard of the companionway is the nav station. There is a chart table with both the newly replaced 12 v. and 120 v. electric panels located just above the chart table. To the aft side of the table are located the VHF radios, stereo, battery monitor and tank gauges.

Forward of the salon and to port is located the shared head. This head is large with toilet, sink with vanity with storage above and below and a large stall shower with built in seat and storage above.

In the forepeak is the guest cabin. This cabin has a large v-berth, storage both above and below as well as a large hanging locker on the starboard side. The cabin has its own private access to the head making convenient if there are guests staying in the salon.

This yacht has old world charm with the extensive use of teak through out and has been beautifully refinished and maintained by the current owner. She is roomy, comfortable and well cared for making her a must see and great boat for someone looking for a mid to low 40's size yacht.
