Walk-Thru
As you first approach this Silverton 41 you are greeted by a exceptionally clean and shiny hull and deck, you will find that this yacht has been well cared for through-out. As you step aboard you will note you have full perimeter stainless steel hand rail with boarding gates on both port and starboard as well as a stern gate leading to the swim platform. The aft deck is well protected with a full cover hard top. This area is fully carpeted with four matching swivel chairs and a small but adequate wet bar. At this point you have two options four steps up to the bridge with good stainless steel handrails on both sides making access safe and easy. Now on the bridge you have a full enclosure (New this Year) and carpet matching the aft deck. There are two swivel arm seats at the helm and and a large "L" shaped seating area at the aft end of the bridge with storage in the seating. The helm has a full arrangement of electronics and engine controls and from this point you have a clear 360 degree view of your surrounding.
Back on the aft deck you now step through a tinted sliding glass door and down three steps into the salon. This area is bright and open with the shades up you have almost a full panoramic view of the outdoors as well as full view of the dinette and galley which are in the lower level. To starboard is a beautifully finished full length doored cabinet as well as a barrel chair with matching ottoman both in a rust colored leatherette. On the port side is an "L" shape settee finished in a light grey leatherette and a large ottoman. At the forward end of the salon to port is a bar with two stools and a icemaker on the port out board side, on the starboard side is an open railing which helps to create the spacious feeling of this area.
Stepping down three steps moving forward you are now in the galley/dinette area. The dinette has a large both style table with the seating upholstered in a light grey leatherette to match the salon settee. To port is the galley, featuring an over under freezer / refrigerator, two burner electric cooktop, built-in microwave and for clean up a large white enameled sink. Counter tops are a light flecked Corian and more cabinets than my first apartment.
Forward of the dinette is the access to the common head. This head has two door access providing access from the main cabin area as well as from the guest cabin. This space contains a vac-u-flush head, generous size vanity with storage above and below, and a large cornered stall shower with plex-glass enclosure on three sides and molded seat.
From the head moving forward through the private entrance door to the head is the guest cabin. The focal point in this cabin is a large double berth with access from both sides. There is plenty of storage including a large hanging locker to port, high wall doored cabinets surrounding the perimeter of the cabin and drawers beneath the berth.
The owners cabin is located all the way aft providing plenty of privacy being separated by the salon and dining area, this is a true owners suite. This cabin is very large, almost full beam width excluding the private head area. As you enter there is a centrally located queen sized berth with full walk-around space and low night tables with storage on both sides. Above the head of the berth is a large opening window providing both natural light and ventilation. To starboard is a beautiful, full front to rear wardrobe including full height hanging lockers, doored storage and a built in dressing table. On the port side the door leads into the owners head. Again this is a large head area with long vanity with plenty of storage above and below, the vac-u-flush toilet is at the aft end with a large stall shower at the forward end complete with molded seat and plexi-glass door.
This yacht is beautifully appointed through out and with meticulous care and maintenance by the owners. There is an abundance of beautifully finish wood through out the entire boat, enough to provide a level of class and warmth but not too much that would make for a dark interior. The carpeting both the interior and exterior have been replaced in 2022.
