Duet is inside a boat dry storage shed at Campbells Bachelors Point for the winter. Winterized (no sea water in the coolers) and soft goods removed for the winter. Campbells is the go-to service experts for Zeus/Cummins.
If you are searching for a Sabre 40/42 that has been cared for "by the manual", updated both mechanically and cosmetically. Prepare to be impressed.
Offered by her second owner, Duet has been a Chesapeake based boat all her life. Her condition cannot be overstated, mechanical, cosmetic and electronics are up to date and impressive. The Sabre 40/42 (re-branded the 42 in 2012) is the most popular traditional cruising boat ever built in this size range.

Accommodations
Entering the saloon, L shaped settee with folding rectangular table to port, barrel chair and custom cabinetry starboard with recessed tv and mini bar. Captain and Mate Stidd 500N chairs offset to starboard helm and Mate chair can be turned to conversation area. Helm side door allows easy access to the side deck and spring line cleats when docking shorthanded.
Two large overhead hatches, 360 view through windows with opening aft sections on the sides, opening aft windows, offer unparalleled views and beautiful ventilation. Engine room access through teak and holly sole, cherry woodwork throughout.
Down two steps to the midlevel galley port, still high enough for the cook to be included in saloon activity, you find beautiful cherry cabinetry, birds eye maple sole with storage below, 2 Vitrifrigo stainless steel refrigerator drawers (updated) and separate freezer, Franke stainless sink, Convection microwave oven and Princess cooktop. An opening portlight is over the sink.
Down two additional steps to the separate dinette which converts to a double berth with privacy pocket doors creating a private guest cabin with large cedar locker, fixed Oceanair overhead hatch with translucent lens and stainless opening portlight.
Across the companionway is the head, which can also be accessed through a door from the Master Stateroom. The head has a roomy shower with circular door and seat, built in vanity with solid surface counter top, storage and mirrors and Jabsco electric fresh water flush toilet.
Forward to the Master Stateroom with centerline queen, cherry woodwork, cedar lined lockers and drawers, built in nightstand, underbed storage. Two opening portlights and an overhead hatch with screen complete this retreat.
