The aft cockpit is packed with imaginative features, including a roomy L-shaped lounge with an aft seatback that folds aft to form a comfy sun pad, and with a fiberglass table on removable legs. Engage a switch to reveal the electric drop-down terrace to port, increasing the entertaining space. An optional remote-controlled SureShade sun-awning adds full protection from the sun. This space is perfect for alfresco dining, socializing, or simply enjoying the sea breeze. A wide walk-around deck to port leads to the forward cockpit, which offers raised triple chaise lounge seating facing forward with additional bench seating in the bow. Options like a portable table and filler cushion reimagine the forward cockpit as a private sun pad. 

Helm Station

Forward of the aft cockpit is the helm station, which is designed with the captain’s comfort and convenience in mind. The helm is equipped with state-of-the-art navigation instruments, including a multifunction display, GPS, VHF radio and Joy-stick electronic controls. The adjustable helm seat and ergonomic dashboard layout ensure that all controls are within easy reach, allowing for smooth and efficient vessel handling. 

Wet Bar

Just aft of the helm, there is a wet bar equipped with a sink, refrigerator, and an optional electric grill. This setup makes it easy to prepare snacks and beverages, adding to the overall social atmosphere of the cockpit. There is also a fold-down TV above the wet bar.

The Salon and Galley

Descending a few steps from the cockpit, you enter the main salon, a space that exudes elegance and modernity. Down below, the Leader 12.5 interior is cooled by the 12,000 + 8,000 BTU Air Conditioning, allowing for overnights aboard. 

• Salon: The salon is open and airy, thanks to large windows that allow natural light to flood in, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere. The interior is finished with high-quality woodwork and contemporary upholstery, providing a luxurious feel. A comfortable U-shaped settee wraps around a salon table, offering a cozy area for meals or relaxation. 

• Galley: Opposite the salon is the galley, which is compact yet fully equipped. It features a two-burner stove, a microwave oven, a refrigerator, and ample storage space for provisions and kitchenware. The galley’s efficient design ensures that you have everything you need to prepare meals during your voyage. 

The Sleeping Accommodations

The Jeanneau Leader 12.5 offers two comfortable sleeping cabins, each designed to provide a restful retreat after a day on the water. 

• Sleeping Accommodations: Forward the salon seating transforms into a king-size bed while the amidship owner’s cabin also has a filler cushion to create a full-sized king bed. 

The Head and Shower

The Jeanneau Leader 12.5 head compartment is accessible from the salon. This head is well-designed, featuring a separate stall shower, sink, and marine toilet, with finishes that match the luxurious standards set throughout the vessel.
