Description: The Beneteau 40CC is a Groupe Finot designed, Beneteau America Inc. built

sloop rigged, center cockpit sailboat. Production built from 1995 to 2002,

291 of these boats were built. The Beneteau 40CC is diesel powered and

carries an external full fin keel and a spade rudder. AUTUMN is white with

a blue water line stripe. From the bow there is a deep anchor locker

accessible from above. Down below in the bow is a head with shower.

Moving aft we are in the forward stateroom with a double berth to

starboard, and a locker and settee to port. Continuing aft we are in the

large main salon with U shaped settee and table to starboard and nav

station and hanging locker to port. Aft in the passageway, to port of the

engine room, is the galley, with stove/oven and icebox. On center

line underneath the center cockpit is the large engine room. Moving

further aft is the aft stateroom, with double berth and hanging lockers.

The aft head is forward of this on starboard. Moving up the companionway ladder leads to the

large cockpit, with a sugar scoop stern providing a swim and dinghy boarding space.

Anchors: Ground tackle consists of a 20kg Rocna type anchor with 232 feet of rope/chain

rode and a Fortress FX-23 secondary anchor. Electric Windlass available with switch in saloon, in excellent condition.

Other Equipment: Mounted on the push pit is a set of dinghy davits with two solar panels mounted on top, all in good condition. Another solar panel is mounted on starboard of pushpit. There is

a full canvas enclosure, 12 years old, fair condition.

Drive/propulsion :The prop shaft is 30mm stainless steel. The cutlass bearing is supported in a

shallow skeg; all were in good condition with no play noted. The prop is a

ZF Marine 3 blade bronze fixed type, marked D18P12RH, in good

condition. There is an anode fitted forward of the prop, and a cone type

fitted to the prop nut, both in good condition The rudder is a spade type.

Fuel system: One 175 litre fuel tank, aluminum under the aft berth, with proper grounding

of the fuel fill and tank, with fuel shut off at the tank. All hoses are in good

condition and of the approved type.

Fresh Water Tanks: Two molded in fiberglass tanks port and starboard forward cabin, 350 litres

total. One 150 litre tank molded in fiberglass, under galley sole. All hoses are

in good condition and of the approved type.

HOLDING TANK(S) – 2 BLACK WATER (There is one 10-gallon plastic tank in the forward head and one 10 gallon galvanized steel tank in the aft head. There was no odor from this tank or its

hosing which is of approved type.)
