The smallest Azimut model in recent years, the 40S is a luxurious twin-cabin sport cruiser whose sleek styling is very similar to Azimut’s larger yachts. The big difference between the 40S and most other sport cruisers her size is the salon. Usually, the area under the hardtop is mostly a deck area with molded seats and a teak-laid floor. On the 40S, however, the salon—completely bathed in natural light thanks to the side windows—is every bit as luxurious as a flybridge yacht with leather sofas and carpeted floors.

With the galley down, the main deck area is used purely for entertainment. The L-shaped sofa in the salon converts into a bed and the adjustable hi-low table is fixed to the salon floor.
