General introduction
Stardust is a nice example of the Downeast classic single diesel express cruiser. This design is strikingly beautiful with her plumb bow, low graceful sheer line, tumblehome in the back quarters and reverse transom. Couple this distinctive look with the functionality of the dual opening transom doors and a huge cockpit this is your porch on the water.
Her Flag blue hull was painted in 2018 and looks great. True North owners tend to be active with water sports like stand up paddleboards and kayaks and fishing and swimming made so easy. You can even slide your whole dinghy with motor attached into the cockpit and get underway in seconds. Cruising speed is up around 20 knots and with the bow thruster she's easy to dock. There is a skeg to protect the prop which adds to excellent tracking. There is a full set of electronics - original and working - and under-water exhaust provides a quieter and fume free ride when underway. Other equipment includes a Webasto diesel heater, electric anchor windlass, galley up in the helm area with refrigerator, microwave, three burner propane cooktop with cover, stainless sink, bimini, and more.

Vessel Walk-Through
The Pearson True North 38 is a classic Downeast cruiser with great lines. She has a huge aft cockpit accessed from either side boarding steps or the twin reverse transom doors making boarding from and dinghy a snap! You can fit your dinghy in the cockpit when cruising! A Bimini cover gives excellent protection from the sun and folds away easily when not in use! Wide side decks and stainless steel handrails make moving forward easy and comfortable.
You enter the pilothouse to find a convertible dinette with Ultasuede cushions to port and the galley up to starboard. The galley
includes a three burner Princess propane cooktop, microwave oven, Frigiboat refrigerator and double stainless sinks. Next forward is the helm with swiveling captains chair to starboard and double companion seat to port. The backrest folds forward. Sliding windows on each side, two overhead hatches and a large center window provide plenty of natural ventilation during summertime while a Webasto diesel heater provides warmth for extended season boating. Three large hatches provide access to the engine and mechanical spaces.
Heading down three steps you enter the cabin with a hanging locker and drawer storage to port and the master electrical panel to starboard. A large V-Berth is forward with a filler piece to make a double. The head and shower are to starboard.
