Description
The 1991 Silverton 38 Express was built on a proven modified-V design with a wide beam and relatively high freeboard. The mid-cabin floorplan is arranged with double berths in both staterooms, and a unique window-wall separates the forward stateroom from the salon. A cluster of six overhead skylights provides outside lighting, while the liberal use of mirrors makes the interior seem very open and spacious. Built with a long list of standard equipment, the 38 Express has a spacious bi-level cockpit with enough fore and aft seating to accommodate a small crowd. A wet bar and icemaker were standard, and a transom door opens to the integral swim platform. Twin 355hp 8.2L Crusader gas engines (with V-drives) will cruise the Silverton 38 Express at 20 knots comfortably.
