    Full Details

Make This Spacious Classic Your Own

Reliable Yanmar 4JHBE 44 HP Engine with only 1580 hours

Enjoy the reliability and parts availability of the Yanmar reputation. The owner just had the engine serviced and she’s ready to go!

    Spacious

2 cabin/ 2 head layout--you have to see it to feel the difference

The interior layout of the Island Packet 38 is designed for comfort and practicality, with ample living space that includes large cabins, a well-equipped galley, and sufficient storage. This makes it ideal for long-term cruising or living aboard

    Ease of Handling

Despite its size, the Island Packet 38 is relatively easy to handle, thanks to features like a cutter rig that provides versatile and manageable sail handling options. This makes the boat a good choice even for sailors who occasionally sail solo or with a small crew

    Practical Beauty

The quality of the workmanship and the finishes are truly something missing from a lot of modern vessels. The classic design of the Island Packet 38, with its distinctive bow, clipper style, and broad beam, appeals to sailors who appreciate traditional aesthetics along with modern functionality.

    Community and Support

Owners of Island Packet yachts benefit from a strong community of fellow owners and enthusiasts who share advice, parts, and cruising stories. Additionally, the manufacturer, right here in Largo, Florida provides excellent customer support.

    Broker’s Notes

The current owners have lavished Babe over the last year updating the necessities to sail off into the sunset. When you step on board, you really appreciate the opportunity this vessel offers for your adventures. I forgot how beamy the Island Packet 38 is and she feels so solid–you could literally take her anywhere. Lastly, I’m always impressed with the craftsmanship of the interior joinery. Island Packet thinks of so many small details like the fold-up table that make living or vacationing aboard much more enjoyable without the cramped feeling. This boat is a great example of a classic sailing vessel that holds its value and truly offers another level of sailing experience.
