Crafted in 1970 by J. Williams (P.E.I.), JAAX is a 38-foot motor yacht featuring strip-plank construction, a flared bow, round bilges, and a transom stern. Fully refitted and upgraded in 2014, including epoxy fiberglass decks and diesel power conversion, this vessel offers modern reliability while retaining its classic charm. JAAX has proven her mettle sailing the East Coast, Great Lakes, and West Coast, and is currently cruising the Salish Sea with remarkable fuel efficiency (1.25–1.5 gallons/hour at 6–8 knots).
