A rare offering in the United States, the German engineered and built Bavaria 38 Cruiser combines excellent sailing characteristics with all the comforts of home. A well-mannered performance cruiser, she is exceptional under sail and she effortlessly reaches hull speed when under power. Nicely finished African mahogany, quality upholstery, integrated handrails, sturdy fiddles and accented trim throughout contribute to her delightful yet functional interior.

Sails Call is a great example of this excellent design. Her owners are meticulous and their pride of ownership shows! She is the perfect size--plenty of room and comfort, yet she is still easy to handle in tight quarters.

The FORWARD CABIN features a large V-berth with a custom split mattress. Two circular stairs with wide treads make it easy to get in and out of bed and makes it much easier to make the bed.

There are 2 hanging lockers and 2 lockers with shelves—one of each to port and to starboard. In front of each hanging locker is a cushioned seat with storage underneath. There are also covered cabinets that run the length of the V-berth, both to port and to starboard. There are 2 large drawers at the front of the berth. An efficient 12v fan and 2 opening overhead hatches (with shades) provide natural ventilation.

The AFT CABIN features storage lockers and cabinets and a large berth for guests or storage.

The SALON is large and well appointed. Natural ventilation is provided with overhead hatches and opening ports on both sides. To port is a long, straight settee that doubles as an excellent sea berth. There is easily accessed storage below, behind and in overhead cabinets. There is a very nice looking mahogany wine/liquor rack behind the settee. To starboard is an L-shaped settee which also doubles as an excellent sea berth. There is storage below, behind and in cabinets above. A flat screen TV is on the forward bulkhead. A beautiful mahogany drop-leaf table is the centerpiece of the salon. A brass barometer and a brass clock are mounted on the bulkhead aft of the nav station.

The HEAD is well-designed with a separate stand-up shower, a flip-down shower seat, a vanity with Corian counter top and a manual Jabsco commode (2020).
