2008 Nordic Tug 37 Stop for a minute and take a close look at the photos of this boat… Beautiful isn't she?

Description

She’s lived a good life, and she’s been loved and cherished by her current owner.

She’s fresh, so fresh….

Yes, she’s a freshwater vessel, that means no rust!!!

But she’s certainly capable of the salty sprays off the East coast (She’d make a great intercostal water-way vessel), or the West if you want to move her that far (Through the Panama Canal, or round Cape Horn if you’re really adventurous). Of course, keeping her on the Great Lakes is fine too…

But enough about adventures, back to this fine lady…

Really and truly, she’s showroom condition.

I know that we shouldn’t eat off the floor, but if you did so aboard this fine lady, you wouldn’t be worried, because she is that clean—from top to bottom!

And…

Guess what…

She’s also a single-owner vessel. This means she’s received the same awesome care from her christening to this very day.

Now, she spends about three months out of the year in the freshwaters of the Great Lakes, but when she’s not on active duty, she’s cozy and warm inside of her heated indoor storage.

She’s fully equipped with Furuno Electronics; a 40GPH (gallons per hour) water maker; a washer and dryer; super-stout ground-tackle for anchoring in calm and stormy weather; an equally pristine and capable 310 Walker Bay consul dinghy, with a 20 HP Tohatsu.

Her aforementioned Furuno electronics include a TZT3 MFDc( New in 2023 ), autopilot, radar, and fishfinder. Stay connected and informed with an ICOM VHF radio, KVH Trackvision M1 satellite receiver, and Em-Trak AIS transceiver, ensuring safety, security and communication in all places and all conditions.

On the exterior, she’s also well equipped with a Rocna anchor, Steelhead Marine dinghy davit, a fully outfitted Walker Bay 310 Consul Dinghy and a Magma BBQ for alfresco dining. Her spacious cockpit and well-appointed dinghy provide endless opportunities for exploration and relaxation on the water.

Beyond her core features, She also comes fully equipped with a wealth of additional amenities, including a Splendide washer/dryer, a 40GPH water maker, a central vacuum system, and Techma Eco head by Thetford. Safety first! with all KIDDE fire extinguishers and an array of emergency equipment on board.

She averages 3 months a year in fresh water and 9 months in indoor heated storage. Most Nordic Tugs live in salt water 12 months of the year

93% of her cruising has been in fresh water

Annually, her hull, deck and cabins are professionally cleaned and waxed

Her flag blue cove stripe and candy apple red waterline are ceramic coated to keep a beautiful shine

Why This boat is so special?

Background

She was built in late 2008 and delivered to the Nordic Tug dealer in Alameda, California and shown in a number of local boat shows. The owners bought her new from the dealer in May 2009 and had her shipped to her new home port in Penetaguishene, Ontario, on the Great Lakes. Of her 15 summers on the water, she averaged 3 months per year in the water and 9 months in indoor heated storage. She is in showroom condition and no other NT37 on the market is as well equipped as she is.

The reason she’s for sale is that the owners have decided to buy a camper trailer and use future summers for land based cruising to destinations that are not accessible by water.
