“Lightning Rod” is a 1998 Hunter 376. She was a freshwater vessel until cruised from Lake Michigan to Florida in 2010. The current owners since 2014 have cruised her from her homeport in Punta Gorda to the Keys and Bahamas several times alone and with friends. The layout and accommodations allow for comfortable cruising for four, though the salon settees can accommodate additional guests. Recognition of the 376 came when Cruising World Magazine awarded the 376 the “Best Value” Award in the 1997 Boat of the Year Awards. In this class of vessel the 376 continues to be the right size and have the features that offer an excellant value in todays market. Designed with flexibility in mind, the Hunter 376 lets you live life to the fullest - whether sprinting under full sail, entertaining family and friends, or enjoying that long weekend or vacation cruising. The 376 is outfitted with a fractional rig featuring a full-roach, fully-battened mainsail and all lines leading aft. The cockpit is large, with an integrated wheel console, hinged helm seat and a walk-through transom with swim platform. The 376's roomy and bright interior boasts wraparound windshield; two staterooms, L-shaped gourmet galley; and a marine head with vanity and stall shower.
