Interior Accommodations
This is a two cabin layout (two enclosed cabins and main salon) with 6'3" headroom in the salon. She sleeps six comfortably - two in the forward v-berth, two on settees in the salon and two in the aft quarter berth. The interior is finished in cherry throughout with teak and holly sole. All cabinets are ventilated. The blue ultra-suede upholstery is in great shape.
From the companionway, five steps lead to the salon. There is good engine access below the companionway steps to the "back" of the engine and the sail drive. From the quarter berth there is access to the "front" of the engine.
Forward Cabin has a 6'7" long v-berth that comfortably sleeps two. Wood slats line the ceiling next to the v-berth. The aft edge of the v-berth cushion is hinged and lifts to provide excellent Storage space. Just aft of the berth to port is a hanging locker. Aft and to starboard is a deep cabinet with three shelves. This cabin encloses for a private suite. There are overhead opening hatches. .
Salon is arranged with an L-shaped settee to port and straight settee to starboard. Between both settees is a drop leaf cherry table. The table has drawers at the aft end and a storage nook below. The mast is stepped just forward of the table. The main bulkhead has a cherry wood veneer. Two custom built shelves are situated on the bulkhead on the port side. There is storage situated behind the seat backs of both settees. Above both settees are vented cabinets, three to a side. The starboard center has the built in liquor cabinet. Overhead in the salon, galley and nav are dimmable lights LED lights which illuminate in red (for night sailing) or white. In the salon, there are two reading lights and two additional cabin lights with individual switches. One 25 gallon water tank is below the port settee. A 26 gallon diesel fuel tank is below the starboard settee. The fresh water pump is also located under the starboard settee just aft of the fuel tank.
Navigation Station is oriented just aft of the salon to port. This large forward facing nav seat and table are perfect for their designed function. The table itself is cherry and lifts for storage
below. Below the nav seat is the inverter charger. Just under the table is a cabinet door giving access to more storage space. The Blue Sea breaker panels, the link interface monitor, fuel gauge, battery switch and Nav electronics are all easily accessible and readable. The forced air heater thermostat is located below the electrical panel in the navigation area.
Galley is located across from the nav station to starboard. With molded Granicote solid surface counters including a large molded 8" deep sink, this is a very functional space sure to please any chef. The U-shaped galley has hot and cold pressure water and a backup fresh water foot pump. The top loading fridge is good size with split removable shelves to maximize the space.
Just under the sink is a pull out waste basket. There is additional storage directly below the sink as well. There are three cabinets, one deep and two shallow, outboard and above. The two burner gimbaled Force 10 propane stove with oven is situated just aft of the fridge. Additionally there are three drawers aft of the stove.
Aft of the nav station to port is the single Head & Separate Shower and molded seat. Counters are Granicote. The toilet itself is a Jabsco manual toilet. The shower drains to a sump with float switch in the main salon. There are three cabinet doors for storage above the counter and sink.
This is another well conceived and functional space on the boat.
Aft of the galley to starboard is the Quarter Berth in an enclosed cabin. This is a large double berth that is 6'7" long. This room has a large hanging locker and built in shelf that runs nearly the length of the berth. There is an additional cabinet located near center line on the forward end of the cabin. Tankage and storage is under this berth.
- Webasto diesel cabin heater 3900 (2014)
- Head with separate shower
- Ultra Suede (Blue) interior cushions
Additional Description (Manufacture)
The 115 interior belies her raceboat capabilities. Using lightweight composite laminates, cabinetry is abundant and attractively finished in varnished cherry with laminated, curved trim. Bulkheads are attached to the interior components using Plexus methylmethacrylate adhesives providing additional stiffness to the hull structure without adding weight. Accommodations for six are provided in fore and aft double cabins and bunk-length main cabin settees. The forward facing nav station is designed to accommodate full navigational instrumentation. The galley is fit with a two burner gimbaled LPG stove/oven, large icebox, deep sink, and ample storage for provisions. A stall shower and large head are located aft and to port. By concentrating on weightsaving construction technologies the 115 delivers an interior befitting a comfy cruiser without giving up her dedication to top racecourse performance.
The infusion deck's laminate is structured from unidirectional e-glass, Baltek AL 600 coring, and a custom-blended vinylester resin. Using resin infusion with these materials results in a lighter, stiffer, and stronger deck than those produced with the antiquated, low-tech polyester resin laminating techniques favored by most other builders. C&C's distinctive deck design is continued on the 115. Wide side decks with molded-in non-skid provide safe and secure maneuvering in a seaway. The signature ?slash? style portlights and classic C&C styling makes the 115 a head-turner in any harbor. The cockpit puts comfort and function first. The helmsman is pampered with a wrap-around helmseat with the 60" wheelwithin fingertip reach for upwind sailing. The main trimmer is given a convenient position just forward of the helmsman and has the mechanical advantage necessary in the Harken gross/fine tune mainsheet system to tweak the best performance possible. The cockpit seats are over 6 feet long and have high seat backs for comfort. C&C's custom toerail and stanchion design maximizes on deck space and offers a necessary toehold when moving forward in challenging conditions. With the racer/cruiser in mind the deck for the 115 is designed for maximum performance while offering comfort for after the race or when cruising.
Manufacturer Provided Description
With her epoxy resin, eglass, and CoreCell core post-cured hull laminate, vinylester resin infusion deck, and a carbon-fiber mast as standard equipment, the 115 maintains highoctane performance ratios yet an interior that features two separate cabins, luxurious main cabin, sit-down nav station, large galley, and head with stall shower. The C&C 115's long waterline (33 feet) produces a very impressive 147 displacement/length ratio. Her epoxy hull laminate consists of an all uni-directional e-glass structural laminate locally reinforced with uni-directional carbon fiber and sandwiched on CoreCell linear urethane foam coring. The laminate is carefully impregnated in metered equipment, consolidated along with all reinforcements and the coring, and placed under vacuum to allow ambient temperature cure. After this, the laminate is post-cured in a computer-controlled oven to maximize the physical properties of the composite. Building the laminate this way produces the lightest, strongest, and stiffest structure possible and the weight saved can be used for interior appointments and additional ballast further enhancing the 115's performance and livability. The bulbed 4,200-lb lead keel has an extremely low center of gravity producing a high righting moment allowing a powerful sailplan resulting in a sail area/displacement ratio of 23.1.

Deck & Hull
Hull construction is a vacuum infused epoxy, unidirectional "E" glass, and synthetic cored laminate locally reinforced with carbon fiber. There are carbon fiber uni-directional reinforcements in way of keel, chain plates and centerline for high strength and rigidity.
Synthetic foam coring is used for maximum impact resistance, stiffness, strength, and light weight. The cored hull also offers superior hull insulating properties, both thermal and acoustical.
