Description
Located in Saint Augustine Florida she is full of new equipment, with low engine hours, and set for solo sailing. This boat is ready for any intrepid buyer. Built by Whitby Boat Works, the Alberg 37 MKII is as classic and as capable as it gets. A medium-heavy displacement blue water cruiser with a sleek build, these boats make for the quintessential racer-cruiser on a budget. Introduced in 1967 the boat draws from its designers background and brings to the influence from Scandinavian folkboats and classic 60s sailing yachts. She features interior woodworking no longer seen in the construction of similar vessels, long overhangs, low freeboard, a soft sheerline. Down below, her solid fiberglass hull has a cutaway full keel design with a large raked rudder. As mentioned this classic comes refitted and restored by her owner as recently as July 2024.
