Equipment
1978 Pearson 365 ketch.
The vessel is ready to go and fully equipped for coastal and offshore cruising with lots of upgrades in January of 2024, including:
Engine: Complete cooling system overhaul, new raw water through-hull, and ball valve, all new raw water and freshwater hoses (except fresh water hoses to coolant tank), acid-washed heat exchangers, new raw water pump, new thermostat, cleaned exhaust elbow, new coolant.
Hull: Two coats of ablative bottom paint applied, along with a new interlux boot stripe. Faired, primed, and painted prop shaft struts, lower rudder bearing, and depth/speed through hull transducer. All seacocks were disassembled, cleaned, and lubricated.
Other: Brand new house battery bank (300 Ah lead acid), new windlass motor (70 amp), new galley fresh water pump, new shower sump pump, new galley raw water through hull and ball valve (foot pump needs to be replaced), about half the running rigging was replaced, including all halyards (I would replace the rest before taking it back to the Bahamas), new IF circuit board in radar, chart plotter updated with most recent software, and new engine start push button.
