Nice Grand Banks 36 in Vancouver
Known for seaworthiness and a comfortable ride, the 36 GB features wide side decks, a flybridge and a spacious interior with two staterooms and two heads. This comfortable cruising yacht features a long keel, 26,000 lb displacement, hard chine, and a deep forefoot hull provide stability and seaworthiness. Her high bulwarks with sturdy teak handrails, anchor platform with windlass and bow pulpit, teak swim platform, transom boarding steps, teak decks, port, starboard and stern boarding gates all add functionality to her graceful classic lines. Teak craftsmanship offers practical beauty above and below decks. The cabin soles are teak parquet throughout, and the extensive locker and drawer space are made out of golden Burmese teak.
The salon is well laid out and is a spacious living area complete with a high/low yacht table, L-shaped settee, galley and helm station. Windows all round provide full 360 visibility underway and good sight lines while at anchor. The well equipped galley offers a three-burner stove/oven, new stainless steel sink, dish locker and electric refrigerator all conveniently located along the port side of the cabin.
Full instrumentation includes autopilot, plotter, radar, AIS, windlass remote, laptop running Coastal Explorer and AC/DC electrical panels that are neatly recessed into the helm station.
The master stateroom aft has a double berth at starboard and a single berth at port, ample storage and drawer space. The ensuite head compartment is spacious and airy with full headroom. It features a freshwater Vacuflush toilet and shower. A neatly recessed stowaway teak ladder provides access to the aft deck via twin opening doors.
The forward stateroom features a v-berth, a large hanging locker and plenty of storage space. The ensuite head compartment has full headroom, a large mirror, shower and a composting toilet.
The flybridge offers a basic helm station with ample seating making it a great place to pilot the boat in nice weather. Under the seats are stowage compartments as well as additional stowage beneath the console.
The current owners have kept the boat under cover and she is well cared for.
