Description

"Galenta" is a very nice example of the Sabreline 34 (Built by Sabre in Maine, still a very active boat builder of Downeaster style boats). She features a very large cockpit that is equally comfortable for fishing as laying out some chairs and a table for dinner al fresco, an open salon with facing settees, a new u-shaped Galley with plenty of natural ventilation, and two helm stations with modern electronics. Down 2 steps are the head with a separate shower--accessible both from hallway and cabin---and a large cabin finished in Cherry with a big island berth and a newer mattress.

Her current owners bought her in 2017 and have poured a lot into improvements to the equipment and additions. Here's a condensed list:

  • Added Bow Thruster
  • Added new Garmin suite of electronics, including two chartplotters, radar, depth sounder, and Garmin BlueCharts to added auto-routing features to the chartplotter
  • Added a customized hard top, and a 3/4 (front and sides) enclosure to the flybridge
  • Recent AGM batteries (2023) and updated wiring
  • Updated Tecma electric head and plumbing system
  • Updated interior upholstery, including salon seats, drapes and mattress
  • Updated refrigerator and water tank
  • Added trolling valves, and downrigger plates for fishing
  • Did regular servicing and bottom paint

See more details below. She is from a premium, US-based boat builder, a known quality and an excellent example of a Sabreline 34.
