Additional Information
Oceanis 34 GT 2010
Matine is a proven vessel that recently arrived at our docks after a transatlantic crossing from Norway. After purchasing her from a family member who has owned her since new, her current owner provisioned her and left in 2023 for his journey to Southeast Florida. She will need a good cleaning and regular maintenance before her next voyage.
She has Raymarie electronics, including autopilot and radar.
Sail inventory:
- Mainsail, in mast, not used much, easy to inspect.
- Genoa, UV protection in October 2022, appears to have many years left.
- A split-apart gennaker. Split one night with an inexperienced helmsman is definitely worth sowing together again. One third is split off. The boat sailed really well with it and was easy to handle shorthanded.
- Standing rigging was serviced before the Atlantic crossing in Gran Canaria in January 2023.
The boat has been mainly in Norway most of its life, so no surprise there. Put on an extra halyard and a spinlock on the mast there.
