Description
Cruise-Ready CE “A” Rated Sailboat – Now Available in St. Croix, USVI
Location: Green Cay Marina (transferable slip)
This well-equipped, ocean-capable cruiser is now available for viewing in beautiful St. Croix, US Virgin Islands, in a highly desirable and transferable slip at Green Cay Marina. Built to CE Category “A” standards for offshore conditions, this vessel is ideal for serious passagemaking and extended cruising in comfort and safety.
The third owner has made substantial upgrades in 2024, including new interior upholstery and a new dodger, along with new house and start batteries paired with a DC charger. The solar system was upgraded to a total of 430 watts, complete with a Victron charge controller. A new 120% furling Genoa was added in 2024, complementing the furling mainsail from 2023. The boat also features a folding propeller, fresh bottom paint, a new Jabsco marine head pump, and a recently overhauled autopilot drive unit (2025). To enhance navigation and connectivity, an ITC-5/NMEA 2000 backbone and em-trak B924 Class B AIS transceiver were installed.
Designed for serious sailing, this boat features a tandem keel that offers reduced draft without sacrificing performance. The hull is CE Rated “A”, reflecting construction to the highest offshore safety and durability standards. The teak cockpit is complemented by a new dodger and a bimini in excellent condition.
The navigation suite includes a full Raymarine package: ST60+ Tridata for depth and speed, ST60+ Wind, A70 chartplotter, ST6002 autopilot, Raymarine GPS, and a Plastimo Olympic 135 compass. Communications are handled by a Navicom RT-650 MOB VHF and a Furuno Navtex NX-300 SSB. The upgraded AIS transceiver ensures safe and reliable vessel tracking.
Sail inventory includes a 120% furling Genoa (2024), a furling mainsail (2023), and an asymmetric spinnaker by Elvstrøm (2009) with spinnaker pole. The standing rigging was replaced in 2018.
The interior is comfortable and practical, with a gas oven, Neef microwave, refrigerator, hot water system, and both electronic and manual bilge pumps. Safety equipment includes two fire extinguishers, four lifejackets, and an EPIRB (currently out of date).
On deck, you’ll find a 310-watt rigid solar panel and a 120-watt flexible panel, both installed in 2023. There’s also a cockpit shower, cockpit table, swimming ladder, and outboard engine brackets. Ground tackle includes a Rocna 15 kg primary anchor with 8mm chain, as well as spare anchor (CQR 15 kg).
This is a rare opportunity to own a fully-equipped, offshore-capable sailboat located in one of the Caribbean’s most scenic cruising grounds. Whether you're preparing for long-distance voyaging or looking for a reliable and comfortable liveaboard, this vessel is turnkey and ready for her next adventure.
