The Finnish-built sloop Koinonia is a fantastic family cruiser and/or club racer, built to the highest structural standards with high levels of craftsmanship. Classic lines, evoking the look of a Nautor Swan or Baltic Yacht.
Her hull utilizes a fiberglass/galvanized steel grid to distribute loads from the keel, mast and shrouds, resulting in a very stiff boat with no creeks or shudders. Fin keel drawing 6’ 2” with a partial-skeg rudder.
Koinonia has received a long list of upgrades over the last 7 years, including:
- Original teak decks removed and replaced with Flexiteek (2023)
- 2019 sails from UK Sailmakers
- Complete engine rebuild in 2020
- Bottom soda blasted, barrier coated and new anti-fouling applied
