The J100 is arguably one of, if not the, finest sailing Daysailers ever designed.
The lore behind this design is that Bob Johnstone designed the boat for himself. He wanted a simple, well laid out, fast, stable and easy to sail boat to to day sail in Maine - Crew optional. Turns out, a lot of other sailors wanted the same exact thing. Farm Girl is an excellent example of a well maintained and upgraded J100.
Here is what the current owner has done over the past 2 years...
- New dodger by Seafarer Canvas
- New cushions and covers inside and cockpit by Seafarer Canvas.
- Partial new running rigging.
- New Doyle triradial 100% jib and triradial main. Technora laminate fabric. 1.5 seasons old.
- New main sail cover.
- Two new group 37 AGM batteries.
- Two new flexible solar panels with charge controllers.
- New Fortress anchor with rope and chain rode.
- Engine professionally maintained with fuel and oil filters, raw water impeller, saildrive oil, and zincs replaced each season.
- *Cockpit Cushions are currently at the Dry Cleaner and why they are not present in photos*

- UK carbon Genoa and Main fair condition
- Asymmetrical and Symmetrical spinnakers. Fair condition carbon spin pole.
