Description
When it comes to cruising, the Oceanis 321 is robust and reliable whatever the state of the sea and wind. The technology used for her construction has been well tried and tested: the inner moulding, a real framework for the hull, is strengthened in areas of stress and gives maximum rigidity. The Oceanis 321 benefits from the results of years of research by Beneteau's R&D department. Her hull is fast and efficient on all points of sail, with a long waterline and a plumb bow that cuts through the waves and the chop with ease. Her bulb keel and her spade rudder give her helm a nice, balanced feel, moderate heel, and excellent stability while maintaining a shallow draft. The Oceanis 321 is also generous on deck, with a large "T" shaped cockpit; the simplicity of the handling lines (brought back to the cockpit on jammers), quality winches and equipment including a rigid vang, furling genoa, wheel steering, and opening transom with swim platform. Numerous portholes provide plenty of ventilation in the salon and cabins. The interior volume of this 32.5-foot sailboat is truly astonishing: from the "L" shaped galley to port, to the saloon settee to starboard, from the forward cabin to the aft cabin, the space has been perfectly distributed for maximum pleasure, privacy, and comfort. The warm atmosphere of the Oceanis 321 interior is enhanced by the richness of finely crafted, varnished woodwork.
